MITTA LODGE

Mitta Lodge is situated on the banks of the Mitta River out of Omeo and is available for use by Club members and their guests.

RULES FOR RENTAL OF MITTA LODGE

Current Fees as shown below may only be varied by motion and majority vote at an Annual General Meeting.
As at July 2015.
  • Members & Family $15.00 per night per person.
  • Guests. $20.00 per night per person.
  • School age children and younger no charge
  • Persons working on Lodge are exempt from fees
Guests must be accompanied by a member.

Bookings for 12 months open immediately following the AGM each year, and can only be made by logging in on the website and completing the booking form or if a Member does not have internet facility phone Ron Healey 0414535379 or John Murray 0402891405
Only two bookings may be made at any time and only one of these bookings may include a public holiday, except on an occasion where a public holiday or a vacancy is still available 14 days prior to its date. Bookings normally limited to 7 days duration.
 
Fees can be paid prior to your visit or immediately on return either by delivering or posting to the Treasurer with a statement providing dates of occupancy member/guest details and the amount or by Electronic transfer to Westpac Bairnsdale BSB033-203 Account 151715 and e-mail the Treasurer with dates and member/guest details.
 
It is the responsibility of the tenant to provide fuel unleaded petrol (No Ethanol). (Fuel containers must be stored in the shed) linen, blankets, sleeping bags etc.
The lodge has 1 queen size bed and 10 single bunks with inner spring mattresses.
The tenant is to supply, washing up cloths, tea towels, towels, bath mats and toiletries including toilet paper. Washing up cloths, tea towels, towels, bath mats and toiletries must be removed on vacating the lodge. Any breakages or damage must be reported, in the case of replaceable items, the member will be responsible for finding a similar replacement.   A comprehensive operations manual is available at the Lodge.
